Exchange Recovery

1)Emergency Hardware Replacement:


Company A had no dedicated IT Department and had sufferred a catostrophic failure of their file storage and exchange 2000 server, MLR were contacted and attended site within 2 hours, investigation revealed that the systems were located in an uncooled area of the building and that ambient temperature had risen above 50c, the server was not configured correctly and had failed to shut down. MLR obtained new HP hardware and installed and configured this into an operationalSBS2003 premium edition system within 24 hours, within 48 hours all data was restored from tape backup or recovery from disk drives.

3)Security Audit of a Company:


Company C had a couple of concerns, firstly the Bugbear virus that was receiving coverage in the computer press, and secondly they had to let one of the more senior IT staff go and now files were going missing, messages coming up on screen and web site front pages changing without warning. These scenarios could be linked to an unhappy or ex-employee - which has become one of the most common sources of business 'hacking'

4) Network Upgrade / Audit:


Company's D's network had been providing slow response to the users desktops, this was a constant cause of complaint from their employees. They were frustrated that if something went wrong on the network it prevented all users from logging in.
MLR can come on site and install passive monitoring equipment that will allow you to see at a glance what is happening over your network, we can isolate the cause of your problem and suggest methods of resolving it. 5)Web Design:


Company E had noticed that everyone seemed to have web sites nowadays plastered all over marketing documentation etc. They were missing out on customer sales as they had no e-commerce solution currently in place. They were falling by the wayside as they were not part of the E-revolution, we assisted their design of a web site including online ordering system and they are now hosted on our web systems.

We can work in conjunction with your sales department and create a web presence for you. Whether it be a basic 'shop front' site in standard HTML all the way up to a full E-Commerce site including FLASH presentation it's what you and your company want that is important to us.

6)Third Party Diagnosis / Troubleshooting:


Company F had been experiencing problems with their network and some PCs for months, their IT staff had strived to diagnose the issues to no avail, finally MLR were called upon to carry out intensive troubleshooting and diagnosis, with our years of experience in the field of IT and with the wide ranging skills our consultant engineers possess we had their IT systems running in no time at all. 7)New Company Network Installation:


Company G were a developing company and performing well. There was just one thing missing, a suitable IT strategy. This was costing them money as their competitors all had their 24 hour advertising already online and serving customers everyday as well as a fully functioning network. On top of that their computer systems were all stand alone and using individual dial up modems this become a time waster as employees wished to swap ideas via email or files could only transmit them via 56k dial up link or transportable media.

We remedied this by carrying out a site visit, auditing the current configuration and working with them and their employees to ensure that the end result was a network environment configured to suit their working practices and not the other way around. this included part Cat5 structured cabling, Wireless networking and a BT Business500™ "wires only" ADSL installation
